Thanks for your feedback!

We made available new files for both Windows and Linux.
You can find the miniZ v1.3n5 on our website https://miniz.ch/download/

  • Improved stale shares.
  • Fixed GTX 1060 settings without oc1/2. (144,5)
  • Better mode detection 3GB cards. (150,5)
  • Fixed templimit in configuration file.

On Download page you can find Cuda 10 and Cuda 8 versions (Linux and Windows).

For those who use Hive OS check here.

If you have RTX GPUs then you need to use Cuda 10.0 versions. However, for other GPUs performance may depend on the driver you have installed. So, you need to test and see which performs best.

* It is advisable to always download from miniZ website, and to always verify the checksum. *

    Hi,

I keep getting this memory error when trying to mine with 8 x 1060 3gb cards. Driver version 419.17. 50gb page file.

Any ideas on how I can get these to run or where I have gone wrong?

    Thanks,

      Hi J,
are you on Windows 10? The 3GB GPUs cannot run 150,5 on Windows 10. It is possible on Windows 7, but you have to run with --mode=3 option.
Windows 10 does not allow miniZ to use all GPU memory. At the moment, we will not look into this since Beam has a scheduled algo change in a few weeks.
We cannot tell you (yet) whether the 3GB will run the new Beam algo on Windows 10. We are working on it. 🙂
For now, running Beam algo on 3GB GPUs is only possible on a different OS – Linux or Windows 7 (run with --mode=3, slower).
      Cheers
